Gabriele Scotto started his shipping career in the family stevedoring business in 1990, moving on to Shipowner activity in 2001. With a vast experience as Chartering Director working for various global companies, Gabriele developed his vision about the future of the shipping industry, analyzing hundreds of ships’ performance in connection with the IMO 2050 regulations, identifying a list of problems affecting the industry, and finally focusing on the ambitious project of building the next generation of Super Efficient Ships, state of the art technology, able to reduce substantially the emissions by swift adoption of a combination of dependent and independent measures.

Houman Derakhshandeh started his shipping career in 1994 working as a shipbroker, before moving on to work as a chartering manager for some of the largest conglomerates active in shipping industry such as Mitsubishi Corp and BHP. He has experience of chartering as well as sale of ships, across a range of ship sizes, commodities, and geographies. Given the recent changes in regulations and being a firm believer and supporter of net-zero emissions by 2050, Houman is looking forward to his part in adoption of energy saving technologies and use of alternative fuels by developing partnerships and collaborating with investors who share the same view to build the ships of the future.
